Revival

[Work in progress] "Bericht von Erfindung der Buchdrucheren in Strasburg" ("Report on the invention of printing in Strasbourg"), is a book printed by the publisher Mority Carlen in 1640.

With Julijana Velickovic, we analysed the typographic characters present in the book. This analysis enabled us to start work on creating a typeface, a revival. Julijana is designing the roman, and I'm designing the italic !
